Go Skate Day 2011

The day started out with a good plan. I thought I had the paperwork necessary to prove that we could skate greenspot without any trouble from the cops, but the men/women in blue came in strong and gave us the boot regardless of the solid argument I put up. Even with this massive bummer (apparently greenspot is a “square” and thus we aren’t allowed to skate there) the day was still good and some impressive tricks went down on my awkward triangle box. Here’s two sequences and some stills for you to enjoy.

Got my camera back!

Finally got my camera back from the Canon repair factory. They wandered their magical hands all over my baby and fixed her up real good. Brought it out last night to the parking lot by Turner to shoot some pics of the regulars skating my new box. I’ll call this a photo Friday even though it’s Saturday now and not technically a new undiscovered spot, but idgaf because I’m just happy to be shooting flicks again. Not gonna lie, I never thought Savannah Skates would make it this far. We got to participate in the St. Patricks Day Parade, put out some illin Check Out parts, had some contests at Woodys and got featured in The Skateboard Mag.
