Go Skate Day 2011

The day started out with a good plan. I thought I had the paperwork necessary to prove that we could skate greenspot without any trouble from the cops, but the men/women in blue came in strong and gave us the boot regardless of the solid argument I put up. Even with this massive bummer (apparently greenspot is a “square” and thus we aren’t allowed to skate there) the day was still good and some impressive tricks went down on my awkward triangle box. Here’s two sequences and some stills for you to enjoy.

For those who don’t remember the golden days of Green Spot, then its time to learn. Located behind the cemetery on Abercorn its a perefectly smooth square of green delight. Check the Spot Map for directions. A perfect place to bring boxes and rails for an all out skate sesh. Plus its close to all the downtown spots. Perfect place for Go Skateboarding Day….
