Awww shit it’s that time again to have even more reason than you already do, to go skate. Go Skateboarding Day is next Monday and that shit is gonna be hotter than …well… than it has been lately….thats some hot SHIT! Around 3:30 or so (so its not lava hot outside) we are gonna rally at the civic center and from there just hit up street spots through SAV. Fuck getting kicked out of spots, we got mad people so we’ll just take over. We will have a live feed on the site tellin everybody where we are at so you can come join us if you missed the start. Once we are all warmed up we’ll all rally (anybody with cars we need you cuz I’m sure people are gonna need rides) to Woodys. Bring out your moon boots cuz we got a highest Ollie contest and food and prizes for people that went out and skated, not to mention its gonna be good times. Watch the vid, get hyped…See you there!

This SUNDAY, May 30th – 7pm, woodys is having a Summer Kick Off with a Hubba Contest.  Go hang out or skate, have some beer food and watch or try your best trick over the hubba ledge for THE BEST TRICK OVER THE HUBBA event…. Winner gets some Hubba gear and second place gets a grizzly bear tooth!!!!

Woody’s will be holding it’s first ever M.A.S.S. event: MUSIC.ART.SKATE.SESSION.  Art? Music? and Skateboarding?  Sounds like a fun sandwich!! …. and  if you didn’t get a chance to see Aaron Lynton’s skate documentary: “Those Other Days” , that and some SavannahSkates checkout parts will be screening at Woody’s on the big screen as well.  (Awwww shit!!) Our homies over at Woody’s Skatepark are having a contest May 1st.  Their aren’t that many contests coming around in SAV so its nice to see some events goin down (not to mention you can win some cash). If you wanna do it,  hurry up and fill out the pre-registration form.  People who pre-register now before the contest will get 1/2 off admission to Woody’s from the day they fill that shit out till the day of the contest.  So if you do it today it’s like 22 days of 1/2 admission to prep for your run and practice all those nollie heel back noseblunts you’ve been working on.

Just wanted to thank Fabio and Woodys as well as everyone for coming out on St. Paddys Day and showin support.  Definitely something we never thought would go down in SAV. Minus the cobble stone squares and shit taking forever to start, it was a fun time.  The light rain didn’t affect us too bad and it was good just cruisinnnn….
