I really don’t mind if the section is kept. I do see people’s reasoning to have it taken down. It does have nothing to do with the purpose of the site. I don’t really watch the videos or prefer the section myself but I do see how it is used to keep something fresh up. I do see how though the section could be kept and why people do like it. I lurk youtube so I always see them but if no one else does than this section could be interesting for them. Also for Erik no one said it couldn’t be a kid from the 912. For instance if anyone could get in contact with Lee or Cory, who both fucking kill it, who said that they couldn’t have a section? That or if someone like Jay, who if I remember correctly shuts everything down from the few times I skated with him, was willing to film a part he could be in it. Overall I think it has its ups and downs just like everything else and should be kept based on the overall vote.

I agree about the photos, we’ll do that in the future.

I feel you about the skate video thing, i just feel like there are so many kids out there, many who dont get coverage in full on videos, but rip really hard. Vimeo and Youtube is a great outlet for them, and creates good exposure. Im def tryin to see the up and comers, plus i will watch about anything skateboarding related, so the more the better. Isn’t new pussy better than good pussy?

I think we should have photos posted in the main stream sometimes, especially if there’s footage to match it.

I voted “no”, but to clarify I think it should try to focus on people in the south! Then possibly like once a month have a limited edition post with a Savannah Skates skater.

I voted “yes”. I still have mixed feeling about this. Because this is “Savannah Skates”. But since Sean “motha fuckin” Fahie (haha) is posting these, and he’s pretty much a Savannah local and all around good dude we should let it ride. And I Love when this site is updated, it keeps me coming back. The only thing I don’t like so far is there isn’t enough updates. So this acts as good buffer between montages.

The only improvement I can think of for the “kids that rip” section, maybe feature more skaters from the south.
